What is in every note?
A header with the title, date, length, platform, participants, language and visibility, a player for the recording, and two tabs: AI Summary and Transcript. The summary, the Meeting Brief, has an abstract, key takeaways, topics, action items, decisions and open questions. It comes on every plan.
What happens when I click a timestamp?
The player jumps to that moment and plays from there. Key takeaways, action items and decisions all carry the time they were said.
How do I record a meeting?
Four ways. The Mac app notices a call and asks once. The meeting bot joins a Google Meet, Zoom or Teams link you paste. Turn on calendar auto-join and the bot goes by itself to the meetings on your Google Calendar that have a Meet, Zoom or Teams link. Or record your mic in the browser. Every way ends in the same kind of note.
Which call apps does the Mac app notice?
Zoom, FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Slack huddles and WhatsApp, plus Google Meet and other web calls in Chrome, Safari, Arc, Brave and Edge. When one starts, a card top-right asks whether to record. If you ignore it, the call waits on Home as Happening now.
Is the meeting bot free?
Yes. The bot joins Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls on every plan and records audio. Recording video of the meeting is part of Pro.
How does Lynkk know which lines are mine?
When you record with the Mac app, your mic and the call's audio are two separate channels, so your side is labelled You in the transcript. Other speakers get speaker labels.
Which languages can it transcribe?
Hinglish is the default. You can also pick Auto-detect, English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic or Russian, and Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali are in beta. A custom dictionary helps with names and terms.
Can I change how the summary is written?
On Pro, Shape rewrites it as one of nine built-in shapes: General Meeting, Daily Stand-up, Product Review, Engineering Design, Sales Call, Customer Interview, 1:1, Board Meeting and Brainstorm. Every version is kept.
Who can see my note?
You, and the people you share it with. Share makes a public link you can revoke, with or without the recording, or invites people by email as Viewers. The summary is emailed to you after every meeting, and to the attendees if you opt in. In a company workspace, admins can read notes set to Admins can see this note, and you can mark any note Personal.
What does the free plan include?
No limit on notes, a lifetime total of 5 hours of AI summaries, the meeting bot with audio, the Meeting Brief, tasks and Send to Jira. Recordings are capped at 2 hours on every plan. Pro adds per-note chat, Summary Shapes, Ask Lynkk across all your notes and meeting video.
Can I get the note out of Lynkk?
Yes. Export Markdown from the note's menu, email the summary, or send the action items to Jira.
