Slack
Ask Lynkk about your meetings, from inside Slack
Add Lynkk to your workspace and ask what was said, what was decided, and what you promised, without opening another tab. Every answer is drawn from your own meeting notes and links back to the note it came from.
Installing adds the Lynkk bot to your workspace. You can remove it at any time, from Slack or from your Lynkk dashboard.
Three ways to ask
Direct message
Message the Lynkk bot like you would a colleague. No commands, no syntax, and the conversation keeps its thread so follow-ups make sense.
Mention in a channel
Type @Lynkk with your question and the answer lands in a thread, with a line naming whose notes it came from so nothing is shared by accident.
Slash command
Run /lynkk followed by your question anywhere and only you see the answer. /lynkk new starts a fresh conversation, /lynkk help explains the rest.
Everyone answers from their own notes
Each person links their own Lynkk account once, so the bot never reaches into anyone else's meetings. It reads only the messages addressed to it, is not subscribed to your channel history, and keeps no Slack message content beyond the question you asked and the answer it gave.
Workspace tokens are encrypted at rest, every request from Slack is signature checked, and removing the app revokes its access immediately. The full detail is in the privacy policy and on the security page.
Answers are generated by AI from your notes and can be wrong or incomplete, so every one of them cites the notes it used. Need a hand? Support is here.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I ask Lynkk something in Slack?
- Three ways. Send the Lynkk bot a direct message, mention @Lynkk with your question in any channel it is in, or use /lynkk followed by your question for an answer only you can see. Use /lynkk new to start a fresh conversation, and /lynkk help if you forget.
- Can other people in my workspace see my notes?
- No. Everyone links their own Lynkk account, and the bot only answers from that person's notes. When someone asks in a public channel the answer is posted there, with a line saying whose notes it came from, so nobody is surprised by what they are sharing.
- Does Lynkk read my Slack messages?
- Only the ones addressed to it: direct messages to the bot, and messages that mention it. It is not subscribed to your channel history and stores no Slack message content beyond the question you asked and the answer it gave, which appear in your own Ask Lynkk history.
- Who can install it?
- Anyone who can add an app to your Slack workspace, which in many workspaces needs an admin's approval. You do not need a Lynkk account to install it: the bot will send you a link to create one and connect it afterwards.
- Is it included in the free plan?
- Ask Lynkk is part of Lynkk Pro. You can install the Slack app on any plan, and the bot will point you at pricing if your account cannot ask yet.
- How accurate are the answers?
- Answers are generated by AI from your notes, so they can be wrong or incomplete. Every answer cites the notes it used, so anything that matters can be checked in a click.
