Terms of Service

Lynkk records meetings and voice notes — online and in person — and uses automated speech recognition and artificial intelligence to produce transcripts, summaries, action items, decisions, a searchable knowledge graph, and related features across web, iOS, and Android. The Service may also join your online meetings as a notetaker bot and connect to third-party tools you authorize. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Laws on recording conversations vary by country and region. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable recording and privacy laws, and for obtaining any consent required from every participant before recording a conversation or deploying the notetaker bot. Where the bot joins a meeting, it is designed to identify itself to participants. You agree not to use the Service to record anyone unlawfully or without the notice or consent the law requires.

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
• record or capture conversations without the required consent;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share;
• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted, or misuse the AI features to generate prohibited content.

The Service is offered on a Free plan and a paid Pro plan ($15/month). The Free plan is provided at no cost and may have usage limits. We may change plan features, limits, or pricing on a prospective basis; material changes to a paid plan you are subscribed to will be communicated to you in advance.

Our order process and payments for paid plans are conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle is the seller of record for purchases made through the Service, handles the transaction, and provides customer service for billing-related queries. Paddle also calculates, collects, and remits applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax) where required.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis and automatically renew for successive periods until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method for the then-current fee plus applicable taxes each billing period. We do not store your full payment card details.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. On cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

You retain ownership of the recordings, transcripts, notes, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant Lynkk a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — including sending it to the third-party speech-to-text and AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content.

Transcripts, summaries, action items, and other AI-generated output are produced by automated systems and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided for convenience and do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Review and verify AI output before relying on it.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Lynkk and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

The Service integrates with third-party tools you choose to connect (such as Google Workspace, Jira, and calendar providers) and relies on third-party processors to deliver its features. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that transcripts and AI output will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lynkk will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
