The details
The specifics, one line each.
- Tokens for Google Calendar, Jira and Slack are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- The Mac app removes its local copy 7 days after upload.
- Dictated words are erased from Lynkk's servers after 7 days.
- Lynkk for Slack reads only its mentions, its DMs and /lynkk.
- Your data may be processed outside your country, including in India and the US.
- Under the GDPR and India's DPDP Act, you can see, correct, export or delete your data.

Does Lynkk train AI models on my conversations?
No. Lynkk does not use your recordings, transcripts or notes to train AI models. To write a note, the audio goes to a speech-to-text provider and the transcript to AI model providers over HTTPS.
Is my data encrypted?
Everything between your devices and Lynkk travels over HTTPS. Tokens for your connected tools are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with keys kept outside the database. Lynkk isn't end-to-end encrypted, because it has to read a recording to write the note.
Who can see my notes?
On your own account, no other Lynkk user can open your notes unless you share them. In a workspace, admins can read a note by default, transcript included but never the recording. Mark it Personal and they can't open it.
Will people know the meeting bot is recording?
They'll see it. The notetaker joins as a participant named after you, for example Maya's Notetaker, and stays in the participant list until it leaves. It doesn't announce itself out loud, so tell people you're recording.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Export my data, under Privacy and data in Settings, emails you a link to one zip with every note and its recording. To delete your account, write to admin@lynkk.ai.
