Where Otter.ai is the better pick
You record on your phone or on Windows
Otter has apps for iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, and its phone apps record offline. Lynkk has no phone app, and its desktop app is Mac only (Apple silicon). On Windows you would use Lynkk in the browser or the Chrome extension.
You have recordings to import
Otter transcribes audio and video files you upload, and it can pull in Zoom cloud recordings. Lynkk cannot upload existing files. It only transcribes what it records.
You need live captions or a long integrations list
Otter shows the transcript live in Zoom and Meet, and lists Salesforce, HubSpot, Notion, Google Drive, Zapier and many more. Lynkk connects to Jira, Slack, Google Calendar, Calendly, Cal.com and your own MCP server.
You buy for a large company

You want answers in Slack, with sources
On Pro, ask @Lynkk in a channel and it answers in the thread from your own notes, says whose notes they were, and lists its sources. It does not read your channels.

Switching
Switching from Otter.ai
Lynkk cannot import your Otter conversations, and you cannot upload old recordings to it, so your history stays in Otter. Export what you want to keep before you cancel.
What comes with you
- Your calls. Lynkk's bot joins the same Zoom, Meet and Teams links, or the Mac app records them with no bot.
- Your calendar. Connect Google Calendar and turn on auto-join, and the bot goes to your scheduled meetings.
